Walking Dogs

I have a small dog named JoJo and Im dog-sitting three others this week. It was a nice cool afternoon on sunday, so after church I took them all to Iman park. The area reminds me of a suburban brooklyn. I LOVE Iman park.

What I wore: Calvin Klein button Down Shirt, Vintage Express Design Studio light khaki sweater,  Nudie Jeans, Saddle Tan Cole Haan Oxfords and Stripe Dress Socks from Gap

I have had these Nudie jeans for a little over a year now. I purchased them from Barneys Co-op New York. They are rather uncomfortable (if you ask me) but the fit is perfection. This is a DRY denim, which means that you are not to wash them for 6mos of owning them. Sounds gross? Its cool, its a Denim. The good news is... the older they get after wear and wash, the better they look. Only time will tell.
Hope everyone enjoyed your sunday!!!!!!

Pop Socks

One signature look that I am tackling this season are what I call:  POP SOCKS. I love the concept of adding a POP to any simple (I repeat simple) attire. GQ Magazine did a feature in last months issue on the wow factor and edge that colored and textured socks can give. Examples below:

Success's Best

Well, I haven't made a post in nearly a month so as I left an amazing meeting with Juliana Mesquita of K-la Boutique on Friday, I called up my photographer to meet me and capture some shots near my favorite glass building in Buckhead.

I wore a tailored classic grey Zara suit, Calvin Klein collar shirt, Calvin Klein pinstripe slim tie, Clavin Klein patent leather skinny belt, Cole Haan patent leather lace ups, Liz Claiborne tie clip, Micheal Kors rose gold watch and Zara business carrier.

Flashback

Last time I was home visiting, I came across some old pics of my dad. The shorts that he wore in these particular pics reminded me of some throw back 70's swim trunks I purchased at the beginning of the summer. So today I got a chance to sit at the pool and get some shots in them to compare.
Just threw on some simple classic Rayban sunglasses and Zara nylon flip-flops! My dads were defiantly much shorter but both had the same vintage 70's detailing.

R.I.P Dad. Today was one of many days that you were on my mind. Love You Always

Summer Breeze

After a meeting, I took a quick stroll around Atlantic Station to enjoy some sun before the overcast and rain came. This is what I wore:

Light pink 1MX collar button down shirt by Express Men, white slim fit pants by ZARA,  blue sports blazer by ZARA,  saddle tan oxford shoes by Cole Haan and floral paper boy hat also by ZARA.

I love Blazers! I only have like a million of them. They are an essential piece in a man's closet. The only detailed piece that I was missing was a pocket square, which is a MUST for blazers. Defiantly on my TO-BUY list.

A classic pair of oxfords go a long way. These saddle tan colton oxfords by Cole Haan tie everything together at the end quite nicely.

Florals were really in this season for men. LOVE this floral paperboy hat that I came across in ZARA

Hope everyone enjoyed the day. Remember, whenever you are given a chance.....SHOOT THE BREEZE! Peace
